two live shows, and a cartoon most days

Revenge of the Cis is a daily live show that Mersh started with Royce Lopez back in 2017 — two old colleagues, two hours a day, going at politics, the news, conspiracies and whoever is embarrassing themselves online that week, with synthwave underneath it.
I watch and I draw. That is the whole arrangement. Something gets said on air, I get it down, and it goes up with the show. I letter ROTC TOONS across the bottom of them like a masthead, because that is what they are — a strip that runs with a programme.
Nightwave Radio is Mersh on his own, late, over on Rumble. They bill it as the most banned show on there, which is their line and not mine, but it tells you the register.
Everything else on this site with Mersh in it started here. The detective in Pussy Wrangler is inspired by him, the barbecue truck in that strip borrows its name from Royce’s, and the stray cat the detective ends up stuck with grew into Kitty City, which is a book now.
Worth being plain about this. What I draw are caricatures of people who go on air for a living and do not expect to be drawn. Everything around them is invention — the strip club, the murder, the city of cats, every word any of them says in a panel. The plots are mine. Nothing in the fiction happened, and none of it is a claim about anybody’s actual life.
So the shows are not a sideline to the drawing. The drawing came out of the shows. Mersh has his own page if you want the man rather than the microphone.
