The dog is eating it
A cartoon drawn for Nightwave. A man in headphones and a cap turns and bellows about the dog eating something, the words lettered enormous across the left of the sheet in two directions, while a cat watches from behind his shoulder.
Lettering takes the left half and the head takes the right, with a solid black field between them that both shapes are cut out of. The shout is drawn at four times the size of the man making it.
Black ink on white. No colour.
Lettering drawn in outlined capitals, some reversed out of the black and some left open on the white, so the same words change colour as they cross the sheet. The head is drawn in quick open line with a dry brush used in the beard.
Ink on paper, drawn as a cartoon for the show.
Dated in MMDDYY at the upper right.
