D Tractor, page 2 — Az in the doorway
D Tractor page 2: the argument turns, and AZ fills the doorway in silhouette with a chain wound round one fist. DICK has gone pink to the ears — “Dont' ye dare take the piss outta me mate!!” — and calls Az Pizza Packer without putting the cone down. GARY's face comes up until it fills the bottom of the shop: nothing generates superchats like tearing down others.
Six panels crowded with heads, one of them a silhouette in a chair, and a very large pair of eyes behind glasses filling the lower centre so the page is watched from inside itself.
Emerald and lime in the green figures against lilac, rose and turquoise in the clothing, with a pale washed ground.
Watercolour over ink with flat colour throughout and the one silhouetted panel left as solid black. Faces carry all the modelling.
