No time for lasagna
A cartoon drawn for Nightwave. A man in headphones and dark glasses leans into a microphone with a cigarette going, calling out a warning to Clarence not to dare. The words NO TIME FOR LASAGNA are lettered across the lower right, and a figure stands in the background behind him.
The head fills the right two thirds at close range with the microphone arm cutting in from the edge, and the lettering occupies the clear space beneath his chin. The background figure is left small and far off.
Black ink on white. No colour.
Open line with the beard and hair in short dense strokes, the microphone drawn with hard mechanical edges, and the lettering drawn in outlined capitals with one word boxed.
Ink on paper, drawn as a cartoon for the show.
Signed with the artist's name at the lower left and dated in MMDDYY beneath it.
