Ghost Party
A heavy aircraft lettered GHOST PARTY with a skull-and-crossbones on the tail sits on a flooded field, Nightwave painted on its flank, while a man in dark glasses sits astride the fuselage. Below, two figures stand in the water and a third holds a cat, and a second plane comes in overhead.
The aircraft runs the full width on a shallow diagonal and everything else hangs off it — the rider above, the group below, the incoming plane in the top right corner. The horizon is ruled flat behind it to keep the machine the only moving thing.
Black ink on white. No colour.
Hard mechanical line for the aircraft against loose figure drawing, with solid black used for the tail, the markings and the water. The sky is laid in as close vertical ruling.
Ink on paper.
Signed with the artist's name at the lower left.
