Blah blah blah
A cartoon drawn off the show. A head thrown back mid-scream, glasses on, mouth wide — and the entire background is the word BLAH lettered over and over until it fills every inch of the sheet. A short note at the left explains that this is the message for the next four years.
One head, cropped at the neck and placed slightly left of centre, drowning in lettering. The repeated word is drawn at several sizes and angles so it reads as noise rather than text.
Black ink on white. No colour.
The lettering is drawn in outlined block capitals and tiled across the whole ground, which is far more labour than the figure. The head itself is built from a few long strokes and left mostly white.
Ink on paper, drawn as a cartoon for the show.
Lettered ROTC TOONS at the lower left with the artist's name and a date in MMDDYY beneath it.
