The kiddy table
A cartoon drawn off the show. A long state banqueting table runs away from the reader with dignitaries seated along it; at the near end, labelled as the kiddy table, sit a bearded man and a small dog, and the demand lettered in the balloon above them is simply for the money.
One-point perspective drives the table from the bottom edge to a vanishing point at the upper left, with the grandees small at the far end and the two at the near end drawn large. Toys and crumbs are scattered across the near end of the cloth.
Black ink on white. No colour.
Ruled perspective in the table and the architecture against freehand figures, with hatching used only on the far wall. The balloon lettering is drawn in heavy outlined capitals with a drop shadow.
Ink on paper, drawn as a cartoon for the show.
Lettered ROTC TOONS at the lower right with the artist's name beneath it.
