Subject

A cartoon drawn off the show, built on a scam call. A woman at a convenience-store cash machine holds up a phone, relaying instructions to a sheriff — that he is a fake policeman, that she should take his gun and shoot him, and then send all the bitcoins. The sheriff listens from the right with his thumbs in his belt.

Composition

The machine stands as a black column at the centre of the sheet, dividing the caller at the left from the lawman at the right, so the device is literally between them. The lettered instructions run across the whole top edge.

Palette

Black ink on white. No colour.

Handling

Solid brushed black for the machine and the counter against open line everywhere else, with the shop shelving drawn in thin ruled detail. One word in the lettering is drawn in heavy outlined capitals.

Medium and support

Ink on paper, drawn as a cartoon for the show.

Signature

Lettered ROTC TOONS at the lower right with the artist's name and a date in MMDDYY beneath it.
