Polly want a cracker

A cartoon drawn off the show. An elderly woman leans in and asks the parrot whether it wants a cracker. The parrot, drawn at the same size as her head and in far more detail, tells her in no uncertain terms that what it wants is to go home.
Two heads side by side at identical scale, woman left and bird right, against a flat black ground. The two words of the parrot's demand are lettered in bubble capitals between them, the only soft shape on the sheet.
Black ink on white. No colour.
The parrot's plumage is drawn feather by feather in dense scalloped hatching and is by far the most worked passage; the woman is built from looser line. The background is solid brushed black.
Ink on paper, drawn as a cartoon for the show.
Lettered ROTC TOONS at the lower left with the artist's name and a date in MMDDYY at the right.
