sissors
A cartoon drawn off the show. Three women stand in a shallow pool under a campaign banner, one shrieking with her head thrown back, one holding a pair of scissors up to her mouth, one wailing at the right. A drain sits in the tiled floor between them.
The banner runs across the top as a hard horizontal and the three figures are ranged beneath it in a shallow arc, with the water drawn as concentric ripples centred on the scissors.
Black ink on white. No colour.
Solid black in the hair and the swimwear against the white of the water, which is drawn as thin unshaded contour. The banner is lettered freehand and left open.
Ink on paper, drawn as a cartoon for the show.
Lettered ROTC TOONS at the lower centre with the artist's name and a date in MMDDYY beside it.
Drawn off the show.
