Four heads banked up the sheet in a diagonal from the lower left, with the tray held flat at the centre so the food is the only horizontal object. Balloons fill the upper band in a descending line toward the answer.

Vertical hatching across the background throws the figures forward, and the crackers are drawn with the most care on the sheet — individually stippled, where the faces are open line.
