American tacos are here to stay
A cartoon drawn off the show. A politician at a lectern announces to fellow citizens that the technology has been acquired and American tacos are here to stay, while behind him a uniformed officer works through a stack of files marked TACO RECIPES and TOP SECRET.
The speaker fills the right half with a flag behind him, the lectern cropped at the bottom edge, and the officer and his files are drawn small at the left — so the announcement and the theft share one frame at different scales.
Black ink on white. No colour.
Solid black in the suit and the flag field against crosshatched faces, with every file and label hand-lettered. The stars on the flag are left as reserved white.
Ink on paper, drawn as a cartoon for the show.
Lettered ROTC TOONS at the lower left with the artist's name and a date in MMDDYY beside it.
Two cartoons from today.
