The Tick Sloppers

A cartoon drawn off the show. Outside a theme-park castle a crowd of very large visitors queue and sprawl — one complaining of park rash, one declaring a hatred of salad, one being helped to step up onto a stand — while the question of who is thirsty for ice cream is lettered across the top.
The castle and a long queue run away to the right under a bank of flags, and the foreground is filled with figures at full size, so the sheet reads from a crowd in close-up into a crowd in miniature.
Black ink on white. No colour.
Open line throughout with slogans and signs hand-lettered, and the castle drawn in thin ruled detail so it stays behind the people. Shading is kept to small hatched patches under the figures.
Ink on paper, drawn as a cartoon for the show.
Signed with the artist's name at the lower centre and dated in MMDDYY beneath it.
