A procession crossing a bridge. A horse carries a crowned rider in a patterned robe at the centre, a cat sits up behind, a walrus in a tank top walks alongside, and a crowd of caricatured men in slogan shirts come up on the left while two dogs in caps and a figure in a parka bring up the right. A city skyline runs behind.
A frieze reading left to right along the parapet of a bridge, with the mounted figure at the centre as the tallest point and the groups falling away on both sides. The dark underside of the bridge makes a heavy base line under all of it.
Black ink on white. No colour.
Fine open pen throughout with solid black kept to the bridge structure and a few garments, so a crowd of twenty figures stays readable. The skyline is drawn as thin unshaded outline.
Ink on paper.
Signed with the artist's name at the lower right and dated in MMDDYY beside it.
A procession piece, drawn off the show.
