D Tractor, cover
The cover of D Tractor: a big outlined letter D standing beside a brush-inked tractor, which is the whole joke in the title. The artist's name is spaced out in capitals across the top and a numeral one sits in a solid black band along the foot. Black ink on white, nothing else on the sheet.
Three horizontal bands — name, image, number — with the letter and the tractor overlapping at the centre so the type and the drawing share the same space. Nothing else is on the sheet.
Black ink on white. No colour.
Solid brushed black for the bands and the tractor's shadowed side against clean ruled mechanical line in the machine itself, with the big letter left entirely as open outline.
Ink on paper, drawn as a title page.
The artist's name is lettered across the top of the card.
