Finders keepers

A two-panel cartoon drawn off the show. In the first a politician demands the return of the military equipment left behind. In the second a bearded fighter sits on top of that equipment with a rifle across his lap and answers with an old proverb about finders keepers.
Two panels of equal width, each with a single figure, the demand on the left and the refusal on the right. The second panel is packed with hardware while the first is nearly empty, which is the whole argument in one glance.
Black ink on white. No colour.
Crosshatching in both faces, with the machinery in the second panel drawn in hard ruled line and heavy black. One word in the reply is drawn in bold outlined capitals.
Ink on paper, drawn as a cartoon for the show.
Lettered ROTC TOONS at the lower left with the artist's name and a date in MMDDYY at the right.
