Wanted: sock thief
A cartoon drawn off the show in the form of a wanted poster. A bearded man is shown front-on against a height chart with a sock hanging out of his mouth, under the word WANTED. Beneath him a reward is offered and three known associates are named.
A strict poster layout — banner headline, portrait panel with measuring marks up the right edge, charge in bold beneath, then the reward line and the associates in small lettering at the foot.
Black ink on white. No colour.
The portrait is crosshatched like an engraving and the lettering is drawn in heavy outlined capitals with solid black fills, so the sheet imitates print rather than cartooning. The sock is left white and is the brightest thing on it.
