D Tractor, page 6 — the production line

D Tractor page 6: the ice cream line runs in five wordless shots — 3-D printed ingredients, a nitrogen hose and a blue cup filling. A great angular head is pressed into the machinery with a tray of cans in its mouth, a paddle turns slop in a pink drum, and at the end of it ERIC and GARY raise a sample cup each: shipping it is READY.
The sheet is divided into irregular panels that interlock like machinery, with the equipment drawn at the centre and the two figures pushed to the edges. A yellow arrow at the right points out of the page toward what happens next.
Mustard and ochre through the workshop against magenta and cold blue in the apparatus, with the sound effects in yellow and black.
Watercolour over ink with hard ruled edges on the machinery and loose wet colour everywhere else. The sound effects are lettered in outlined capitals and allowed to break the panel borders.
Watercolour and ink on paper.
Signed with the artist's handle at the lower left.
