Teenage Mutant Ninja Aardvarks
A cartoon drawn off the show. A hand-lettered shout goes up asking whether there is beef, and four aardvarks in masks and headbands come up out of a drain in a tracksuit-and-nunchuck pose. At the right two figures watch from a stall and admit they have no idea who any of them are.
The lettered shout fills the upper left, the four creatures occupy the centre ground in a row, and the bystanders are set small at the right behind a counter — so the reveal and the shrug share the frame.
Black ink on white. No colour.
Open line for the figures with heavy black in the drain and the shadows, and the title lettering drawn in outlined capitals with a spiked burst behind it. The city skyline is ruled thin so it stays back.
Ink on paper, drawn as a cartoon for the show.
Lettered ROTC TOONS: TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA AARDVARKS along the lower edge with the artist's name and a date in MMDDYY at the right.
