Weinertine's Day
A cartoon drawn off the show. Two men sit down to a Valentine's dinner and are asked whether they are here for Galentine's Day. They decline the description, ask for a table away from the herd of cows, and get on with eating — rose petals included — while the restaurant carries on around them.
A wide restaurant interior with the ceiling lights ruled in a receding row, the two diners at the lower centre and the staff and other tables ranged behind. Balloons run right across the top of the frame like a header.
Black ink on white. No colour.
Light open line throughout with a ruled architectural background, and dense scribbled texture reserved for the food on the table. Almost no solid black, which keeps the room bright.
