All you can eat shrimp

The second of the ROTC Cruise Funnies. The quayside below the liner has turned into a street scene — boom boxes, a stacked cart, an all-you-can-eat shrimp sign at a few dollars, a banner announcing that benefits cards are now accepted. One host observes that he thought this was a nice cruise; the other points out that the sign says no such thing.
A deep perspective down the side of the hull, with the ship's flank ruled away to the upper left and the signage crowding the upper right, so the two balloons meet in the gap between them. The crowd runs along the bottom edge in a frieze.
Black ink on white. No colour.
Dense ruled linework in the hull and the gangway against scribbled, scratchy figures, with every sign hand-lettered. The contrast between the ruled ship and the loose crowd is what sells the setting.
Ink on paper, drawn as a cartoon for the show.
Signed with the artist's name at the lower right and dated in MMDDYY beside it.
