Woman from behind above a skirt with a fish form

A woman seen from behind, bare to the waist with her hair falling black down her back, standing above a long skirt worked in yellow and green with a fish form in it.
Upright, the figure placed centrally and cropped at the head, with the skirt sweeping from her hip to the lower left corner. The ground behind is divided — mosaic at the upper left, flat wash at the right.
Cream and bone in the figure against a ground of plum, lavender and oxblood. The skirt carries cadmium yellow and viridian; small squares of coral and ochre speckle the upper left.
The upper ground is built from small flat squares laid like tesserae, each a separate touch, while the right half is washed broadly and allowed to run — two quite different methods in one picture.
Watercolour on paper.
No signature visible within the painted area.
