What the hell
A strip panel: Mersh walking out in shorts, sandals and an open floral shirt with a bottle in his hand, a cigarette in his mouth, while a woman in red turns away in the foreground. His balloon reads WHAT THE HELL!?!
A single upright panel with the figure centred and the foreground woman cropped hard at the left edge, close enough to be out of focus. The balloon sits above and outside the panel border, which is left visible as part of the page.
Orange and ochre through the wall behind against the sage of his shorts and the dull red of her dress. The floral shirt carries the only scattered bright colour.
Ink line with light washes, the wall brushed in flat and the figures given slightly more modelling. The paper edge and the next panel are left in shot rather than cropped away.
Watercolour and ink in a sketchbook, photographed as a page.
No signature within the panel.
