The transit station
A station concourse under sweeping vaulted canopies, a sleek train drawn up at the platform, and Mersh walking through with a case in his hand while cats carry luggage, push carts and wait along the platform edge.
A deep perspective down the platform with the canopies arching overhead, the train filling the right and the crowd thinning away to the left. Mersh is mid-stride at the centre and is the only full-height human figure.
Black ink on white. No colour.
Flat brushed black for the canopies and the dark of the train against fine parallel hatching for their curved surfaces, so the structure reads as both solid and lit. The crowd is drawn smaller and looser the further back it sits.
