The Maniak in the alley, inks

Black and white ink art from The Maniak, the armoured Maniak swinging at a man in a flat cap in an alley with CRAK lettered between them. The Maniak comes in from the left in a ribbed helmet with a crescent eye and a grinning row of teeth, a studded shoulder, a marked gauntlet, his cape thrown up behind him into a bank of solid black. The man on the right is bald and moustached, mouth open, a bottle in his raised fist, with a second head doubled over below. A sign reading NINJA runs down a building at the top right.
Two figures slammed together across the middle of the page on opposing diagonals, with CRAK lettered exactly where they meet. The buildings behind are ruled in steep perspective and the cape is the only large solid, so the eye is pushed into the centre and kept there.
None — black ink on white paper, every grey in it made by the spacing of the hatching.
Dense parallel hatching for everything that turns, flat black where the cape and the sky need weight, and the brickwork ruled against a straight edge. The spatter is flicked off the brush.
Ink on paper, scanned flat. Line art, unlettered apart from the sound effect and the signage drawn into the scene.
No signature visible in the scan.
