Superkiller, full figure

Superkiller Sam at full length in costume, prowling forward in a half-crouch with the little red ray pistol held up beside his face. The suit is gold with blue at the seams, with pouches at the belt and the thigh, heavy buckled boots and a purple ruff standing up behind the neck. He holds a small red ray pistol upright beside his face. The white hair stands up over a black mask.
The figure alone on bare paper, turned in profile to the left, the body a long S from the forward boot to the raised pistol. Nothing else is drawn, so the silhouette carries it — the hair at the top and the boots at the bottom are the widest points.
Gold and tan over most of the figure, cut by blue at every edge and shadow; purple at the collar and the straps; one small saturated red for the gun, which is where the eye ends up.
Drawn in ink with a steady contour, then washed in two passes — a warm one for the body of the costume and a cool one laid along the far side of every form. The gun is painted last and wettest, and bled slightly into the hand.
Watercolour and ink on paper, scanned flat. No background, no opaque paint, the paper left as the light side of every surface.
