Saint Mersh holy card

A devotional card. A bearded man in a baseball cap and mirrored sunglasses stands haloed in a red robe with a cigarette raised in one hand, a heavy weapon over his shoulder, and a black cat held against his chest. A sacred-heart emblem with a paw print in it sits on his shirt.
A strict frontal icon: head centred, halo as a plain ring behind it, the figure cropped at the waist. The cat occupies the lower right where a saint's attribute would go, and the heart sits dead centre.
Vermilion and rust through the robe against the turquoise of the cap and the pale blue of the ground, with gold at the collar and the sacred heart in red and yellow.
Watercolour over ink, the robe painted in long modelled folds and the background left as a flat wash. The devotional conventions are followed straight — no parody in the painting itself, only in the subject.
Watercolour and ink on paper.
Signed with the artist's name up the left margin.
