Saint Mersh, holographic print

The Saint Mersh devotional card as a finished holographic print — the haloed figure in the red robe with the cigarette, the weapon over the shoulder and the black cat held to his chest, photographed so the iridescent stock catches the light at the edges.
The icon is reproduced whole with a printed border framing it on all four sides, and the photograph is taken square on so the card fills the frame.
Vermilion and rust in the robe against turquoise and pale blue, with the print stock throwing green and pink across the margins.
A reproduction rather than an original: the painting is unchanged and the interest is in the stock, which shifts colour across the border where the original had flat paper.
Holographic print of a watercolour and ink painting.
The artist's name is printed up the left margin, as in the original.
