Rocky cove with agaves on the bluff

A rocky cove seen along the shore, with agaves and their flower spikes standing on the bluff above and a palm leaning in from the right.
The shoreline runs diagonally from the left edge to the lower right, dividing water from land. The flower spikes rise through the upper half as thin verticals and are the only drawn detail against an open sky.
Turquoise and teal in the shallows deepening to cobalt beyond, against a bluff of sap green and ochre. The rocks in the foreground are terracotta and plum; the sky is washed pale and left mostly bare.
Wash first and pen afterwards — the line is run over dry colour to find the agave spikes, the rock edges and the water line, never to outline a shape that the paint already carries. The washes are loose and allowed to spatter.
Watercolour with pen and ink on paper. Transparent throughout, with unpainted margins on all four sides.
Lower right, RAYRAYISHAPPY, in black over the rock, letters touching.
