Pork butts four hours in, bark beginning to crack

The same two pork butts seen closer and four hours later, the rub now set into a deep red-brown bark that has split into wide fissures showing the rendering fat beneath. A thread of smoke crosses the frame and the grate and wooden deck sit dark behind them.
Just wanted to let @dickmasterson that we are about 4 hours in. The butts are looking juicy and vibrant.
