Open green field running to a tree line

An open green field running back to a dark tree line, with a strip of bare tilled ground at the right and low hills on the horizon.
Three bands — sky, tree line, field — with the field taking three quarters of the picture. The horizon is high and level and nothing rises above it; the whole composition is given to the ground.
Emerald, sap green and a sharp acid green through the field, with the tilled strip in tan and ochre. The tree line is bottle green and dusty violet; the sky a pale cream with a flush of rose.
Flooded wet and allowed to run, with the greens dropped into one another so they bleed and granulate. Short dark dashes are stamped over the dry surface at the end to carry the texture of the ground.
Watercolour on paper. Transparent throughout, with unpainted margins on all four sides.
Lower right, RAYRAYISHAPPY, in black over the field, letters touching.
