Mersh and Wonder Woman at the barbecue
Mersh in an orange shirt with a beer in his hand, mid-shrug, talking to Wonder Woman who stands beside him holding the lasso of truth. His line reads: Ya that's real cute... but how does it help you wash dishes?
Two full-length figures side by side in long grass with the balloon above them, and the lasso drawn as a long gold curve across the whole foreground — the one thing in the picture that moves.
Orange and denim blue through Mersh against her red, gold and midnight, over a cold green ground. The lasso is the brightest note and it runs the full width.
Ink line with washes inside it, she is modelled and he is flat, the same treatment used wherever he meets a costumed figure. The grass is dry-brushed in short vertical strokes.
Watercolour and ink in a spiral-bound sketchbook.
No signature within the painted area.
