marge
A roundel for The Bad Luck Boys Kitty Rescue, made for Marge. A black cat's head sits inside a double ring carrying the rescue's name, and a small heart at the foot of the circle holds her name in script.
A strict badge: head centred in the inner ring, lettering wrapped around the outer one, heart breaking the baseline at the bottom. The ears push against the inner ring so the head fills its circle.
Black ink on white. No colour.
The head is laid in as one solid brushed black with the muzzle, whiskers and eyes reserved as bare paper, against a clean ruled double ring. Ink spatter is flicked around the outside to break the geometry.
Ink on paper, drawn as artwork for reproduction.
No signature; the sheet is working artwork for a logo.
One of the Bad Luck Boys rescue roundels.
