Let's go party with them

A day's fishing off a boat. A woman in a bikini spots something over the water and calls out, and Mersh stands at the rail in a bucket hat and a loud shirt with a rod in one hand and a drink in the other. At his feet the catch is already being dealt with by cats, who have not left him a whole fish.
Four panels on a sketchbook page, the wire binding visible along the top. The large standing figure runs the full height at the right and the three smaller panels stack against it, so the man and his indifference anchor the sheet.
Sea blue and turquoise through the water and sky against the coral and peach of the shirt, with the fish in pink and silver.
Open ink line with washes brushed loosely and allowed to run, the sea laid in as long directional strokes with white paper left for the chop. Much looser than the finished strips — this is sketchbook work.
Watercolour and ink in a sketchbook.
Not signed within the drawn area; the sheet is a sketchbook page.
After renting a boat and stocking it for a nice relaxing day of fishing.
