The Maniak flat out in mid-air driving a punch into a purple-caped figure, blood arcing up into the black lettering of KNOCK OUT above them. He is in dark armour and a blue visored helmet, cape streaming behind him in a long blue arc, both arms thrown forward. The figure taking it wears a purple hood and cape with a gold cross at the shoulder and is folded backwards out of the frame at the right. Along the bottom edge a pink-haired figure lies on dark red ground.
Both figures are horizontal, laid across the page as one long line from the lower left to the upper right, so the whole picture reads as a single blow travelling left to right. The lettering sits at the far end of that line, where the blood reaches it.
Yellow behind, blue and black for the Maniak, purple for the one being hit, and red as the only accent — all of it in the upper right.
Ink outlines filled with flat and semi-transparent washes, the yellow laid in fast with the brush strokes left showing. The blood is drawn as outlined shapes and then filled rather than spattered.
