Kitty transit station
Concept work for Kitty City. A man walks through a transit hall with a cat at his heel while a streamlined train sits at the platform and small cats and travellers move about the concourse. A bus waits at the right.
A deep one-point perspective with the train nose driving in from the right and the vaulted roof sweeping overhead, so the architecture does the pulling and the two walking figures are left small at the lower left.
Black ink on white. No colour.
The roof is built from long sweeping parallel strokes and the train from hard ruled curves, with the figures drawn in light open contour. Solid black is used sparingly and only overhead.
Ink on paper.
Signed with the artist's name at the lower centre and dated in MMDDYY beneath it.
