Fuk yoself
The Victorian house on its lawn with a palm beside it, and Mersh in the right foreground drawing a pistol with a cat on his shoulder. The cat says MOW; Mersh replies FUK YOSELF.
The building fills the left two thirds and Mersh is cropped large at the right edge, so architecture and figure each get their own half. The two balloons sit in the sky between them and link the halves.
Cold blue and violet through the house and sky against acid green lawn, with Mersh in hot coral and orange. He is the only warm thing in the picture.
Ink line with washes, the house drawn carefully and the lawn scribbled in with a dry brush. The lettering is drawn in outline and filled hot so it reads before the picture does.
Watercolour and ink on paper.
