Fire
A long-haired tabby in a blue suit with a pink-edged lapel and a teal tie, head turned and mouth open, giving the order FIRE! in a balloon at the upper left.
A close portrait filling the sheet, the head turned three-quarters and the shoulders squared below it, with the balloon tucked into the one empty corner. The whiskers run out past the picture edge.
Olive and gold through the fur against magenta and cobalt behind, with the tie in teal. Every colour is laid at full strength with no greys.
Marker over ink, worked in visible parallel strokes that follow the fur, with the background scribbled in contrasting colours so the head reads forward. The whiskers are reserved white lines.
Marker and ink on paper.
No signature within the drawn area.
