Dad's ghost and the pizza
Dayton Hypernova is in a bedroom being asked to finally do the laundry by a hovering yellow figure — a father's ghost in purgatory, who cannot get into heaven until he delivers one last pizza with her favourite toppings. She refuses it on the grounds that she only eats Gino's, and the ghost comes apart.
Six panels built on a single colour idea: the ghost is painted flat chrome yellow in every panel and everything else is painted normally, so the eye tracks him through the strip without needing an outline to follow.
Chrome yellow against lilac, violet and cold blue, with the pizza box in warm red and the hair in cobalt.
Washes over ink, the ghost laid in as unmodulated yellow with no shading at all while the room is given ordinary modelling. His dissolution in the last panel is drawn as lettering and spatter rather than painted.
