D Tractor, pages 11 and 12 on the board
Two D Tractor pages taped side by side on the board and painted: page 11, the ice cream cart going WIZZZ CLICK CLICK, and page 12, the bench — CLIPPA coming in flat and fast off his skates with the NNO O O O of the dive thrown across the panel, ETHAN's helmet at the edge and MINT SALAD filming from the path.
Shot down the desk so the two sheets step away from the reader, each in its own frame of blue tape, with the nearer page cropped by the bottom of the shot.
Park green and sky blue through both sheets, against the orange of the lettering and the black and white of Clippa going past.
Watercolour over ink. The two pages are at the same stage — figures finished, grounds in, lettering already coloured — which is how he works a spread at a time.
