D Tractor, page 23 inks — the arrest
The inks for D Tractor page 23: ETHAN in the horned helmet with his blades out — those damn reptiles have absconded! — MINT SALAD asking why!?, the officer answering warrant ma'am, and MANGE's antidote balloon coming in at the edge.
Shot along the page at a steep angle so the panels fan away from the reader, the two balloons nearest the lens reading first and the arrest falling back into the sheet.
Black ink on white, with pencil still showing grey underneath.
Pen over pencil, the faces inked and the crowd left as pencil for now. The lettering is drawn into the balloons before the figures are finished.
Photograph of the original inks, pen on paper.
Unsigned — a page in progress.
