D Tractor, page 20 inks — who's got powder?
The complete inks for D Tractor page 20, numbered 20 in the corner: one shot as wide as the field with the horde closing over the crew. ETHAN calls for full MANGE and for DICK, Mange cannot reach Yanzi, and ANNA is too fertile to die. Bottom right, NICK looks straight down the lens, perfectly calm — who's got powder?
A single panel the width of the page, read left to right along a line of standing figures with the horde pouring in from the upper right; the calm face in the lower right corner is the only thing looking at the reader.
Black ink on white, flicked with spatter. The blue board frames it on all four sides.
Pen and brush, with the crowd thinning from full drawing on the right to bare contour on the left, and the ink spattered over the whole sheet at the end.
Photograph of the original inks, pen and brush on paper.
Signed with the artist's handle at the lower edge and numbered 20.
