Casino scene, Kitty City
A long-haired woman in shorts firing a pistol over her shoulder inside a casino, the shot lettered Bang in a looping balloon, while a small bearded man hurries away at the right with a drink in his hand. A slot machine marked JACKPOT SLOT stands between them under a CASINO sign.
The woman is drawn at full height and close, her hair taking the entire left half of the sheet; the man is a third her size at the right. The slot machine and the sign fill the gap between them and read as the depth of the room.
Black ink over graphite on white. No colour.
Finished brush line over a pencil lay-in still visible at the legs and floor. The hair is the most worked passage on the sheet, built from long unbroken strokes, while the background is held in flat outline.
Ink over pencil on paper.
Signed RayRayisHappy at the lower right.
