Blam
Mersh firing a heavy revolver past a woman he has pulled in against his chest, her mouth open, the shot lettered BLAAM and the target's head coming apart at the right of the sheet.
A single hard diagonal from the lower left to the upper right along the gun arm, with the two protected figures low and heavy and the violence placed at the top where the paper is emptiest. Nothing is drawn below the knees.
Black ink on white. No colour.
Clean open contour with almost no fill — the drawing is carried entirely by line weight, heaviest on the revolver and lightest on the running legs. The muzzle blast and the lettering are drawn as one shape.
Ink on paper.
