Bang
Mersh firing a pistol point-blank past the head of an enormous black cat that fills the right of the sheet, the shot lettered BANG, with a long-haired woman below him and a bottle on a tray at the lower right.
The cat's head is drawn many times life size and occupies the whole right half as a black mass; Mersh is small against it at the left. The lettering sits in the gap between the muzzle and the cat's ear.
Black ink on white. No colour.
Solid brushed black for the cat with the whiskers and eyes reserved out of it, against clean open line for the people. The scale difference is the drawing's whole idea and nothing else is rendered.
Ink on paper.
No signature visible.
