Attack Kitties
A man in a purple jacket braces and fires a pistol to the right, muzzle flash blazing out of it, while two winged cats come in over his shoulder trailing fire. The words ATTACK KITTIES are lettered large across the lower right.
The figure occupies the left and the flash drives the eye right into the lettering, so the title sits exactly where the shot lands. The flying cats run along the top edge on the same axis.
Violet and plum through the figure and the ground against cadmium orange, chrome yellow and red in the fire and the lettering, with green in the trousers.
Watercolour over ink, the background washed in wet so it mottles, the flame worked wet-into-wet. The lettering is drawn in outline and filled in two colours.
Watercolour and ink on paper.
No signature visible within the painted area.
