Attack Kitties
Mersh firing a futuristic rifle at winged cats diving on him out of the air, one already past his shoulder, the muzzle blast breaking into flame at the right. The title ATTACK KITTIES is lettered across the lower centre.
A wide panel with Mersh driving in from the left and the flame leaving at the right, the attacking cats arcing over the top. The title sits in the one quiet area, below the line of fire.
Mauve and dusty rose through the sky against the acid yellow and orange of the cats and the blast. The figure is the only cold note in a hot picture.
Washes over ink, worked fast and left streaky, with the flame scrubbed in wet so it bleeds into the sky. The lettering is drawn in outline and filled with the same orange as the blast.
Watercolour and ink on paper.
No signature within the painted area.
