A P365 with a red dot
A man holds out a compact pistol fitted with a red dot sight for inspection, while three cats climb him — one on each shoulder and one hanging off the arm — and a tail whips across the top of the sheet.
The gun is thrust forward into the foreground at the right and drawn at twice the detail of anything else, so the eye goes to it first and only then finds the man and the animals behind. Nothing is drawn behind the figure at all.
Black ink on white. No colour.
Spare open contour for the man and the cats against a hard mechanical line for the pistol, which is the only object given a ruled edge. No fill anywhere — the sheet stays white.
Ink on paper, drawn as a cartoon for the show.
Signed with the artist's name at the lower right.
