The Bad Luck Boys and Kitty City

How do you put a shattered life back together? Mersh finds himself in Miami once again. The people are the same, but the relationships have moved on. Climbing up from the gutter this story follows the reluctant hero as he callously gambles his life while drinking to numb the pain. He finds purpose in the crusade to save three stray cats and their advanced civilization. Has he fallen to hysteria or just a really good tab of LSD?

The first book is written and layouts are under way. Check out some of the concepts below.

Pussy Wrangler and the Case of the Double D.

This is one of the first stories I wrote. It's about a disgraced cop who finds himself as a depressed private investigator. His office is a rented room in the back of a strip club. His best friend runs a food truck that services the parking lot of the strip club. This is the first story in the series.

I would really appreciate if you would read the script and give me your feedback. Here are some concept sketches that I envisioned.

Silverback's Song

A short story about a silverback gorilla that rules the jungle with anger and rage.

In the jungle, the law of the silverback gorilla reins supreme. His eyes patrol constantly in search for any threat, big or small. Testosterone surges through his veins and at a moments notice he is capable of releasing his full fury upon any adversary. Constant vigilance is tiring and the responsibility of the order of the jungle weighs heavy upon his shoulders. What will he do when he’s pushed too far?

de·trac·tor

A paradoy comic about the ongoing drama within the independent comic book industry.

The Middle age Mutant Ninja Tortoises have set their eyes upon a new market. If they can move different, total world domination might be within their grasp. The unsuspecting public cheers them along as the product to their own demise rolls out. A rag tag group of outcasts watch from the fringes. Deemed cancelled and unredeemable by the mainstream, they have gathered together beneath a common banner. They are the detractors.
